As the leaves turn and summer turns to fall, change is in the air in the Murdock Trust offices. Recently, two new faces joined our ranks. Please join us in welcoming Francesca Cruz and Claire Frankenfield!

Claire Frankenfield is a Nashville native and graduate of Auburn University where she earned a B.S. in Interdisciplinary Studies with emphases in Economics, Nonprofit and Philanthropy Studies, and Africana Studies. She has made her way to the Pacific Northwest through the Oregon Leadership Development Institute as a 2018-2019 Portland Fellow. Claire has a wide variety of vocational interests, particularly in the nonprofit and social entrepreneurship sectors, and is grateful to be able to explore and gain more knowledge in those areas during her time at the Trust.

Francesa Cruz recently graduated from Western Washington University with a major in Cultural Anthropology. It was in college where she became involved in civic engagement which further exhilarated her plans on attending law school and later writing policies in various fields. When Francesca is not managing our reception area and supporting our administrative team, she loves spending time with family, reading, and baking while watching The Great British Baking Show.

We are grateful that these two outstanding professionals have agree to bring their skills and talent to the Murdock Trust and we cannot wait to see the positive work they will help us pursue in the new year. Welcome Claire and Francesca!
